Now I’m going to take a look around and see what there is.
I’m using the classic editor – which I’ve almost forgotten – for this post.
It gives you a lot of options, doesn’t it? Except I can’t remember how to move an image up and down the page.

Looking good! Glad to see you mad it.
While I’m thinking about it, a couple of other things! We’ve been talking about the fact that it would be helpful to put an author “byline” at the top of each post to identify who is posting. The author information is all the way at the bottom of the post.
Also, I’m trying to remember to put myself as a category on all of my posts so that clicking on my category basically provides an “individual” feed within the full multi-author feed.
The author / avatar thing: With the jetpack extensions turned on, each person can create a post, save it as a draft and then “copy” it from the Posts page each time they want to use it as a template for a new post. I do this with my Halloween Bingo update posts. So we could each create our own draft post that has our avatar and author name in place, formatted to our liking, and then copy that each time we create a new post.
I’m not sure that isn’t any less of a hassle though, because I usually use the +New button at the top to create a new post of any kind except the Halloween Bingo update. But it’s a possibility that might work for some.
Glad you found your way to use Mike!
The classic editor does have a lot of choices, and could even have more if we have need for it – part of putting the classic editor back in was adding a plug in that allowed you to expand or remove options from that toolbar. I’ve been thinking I need to add strikethrough as that formatting often comes in handy with our games.
If you’ve enabled keyboard shortcuts, you can do strikethrough as
“Alt + Shift (⇧) + d”.
or
“Ctrl + Option (alt ⌥) + d”
Also, moving images up and down in classic editor: there are three ways I’ve done it with success:
Going into the ‘text’ tab, highlighting the tag, cutting and pasting it where I want it.
Deleting the image and starting over again. 🙂
#3 usually happens when #1 not working has pissed me off.
waves Hi Mike!
