I have no idea if this will work or not. Each player should, ideally, have their own area to track their bingo card, or whatever, but still be able to create posts that go to the main blog feed without having to repeat their efforts.

I don’t know what “projects” are versus pages. I’ve never had the capability for comments before.
Themis uses this feature a lot, but while I tried to set it up, I never could quite get my head around it. I’m hoping once she gets a chance to join us, she can help us determine if it’s a useful feature or not.
The player posts’ feed can be auto-generated from the site members’ original posts if these posts are either categorized or tagged as “Halloween Bingo” (we’ll eventually have to determine which of the two to use; I suggest using categories because it’s a higher order of organization than tags — that’s the way I’m doing it in the “Halloween Bingo” test menu I just created).
The “Halloween Bingo” project feed would be used to cull all admin posts formatted as projects into one place.
Ahh… I think you answered the question I just posed on another post. So the project area would just be used for the Admin posts for the game as a way to keep them segregated from the normal blog feed. Users would just post to the normal feed they way we’ve always done (in BookLikes).
Exactly!
I just noticed – we can’t like comments on projects. Not a deal breaker, just an observation.
Nor the “projects” themselves, I think, at least not in the basic setup. One more reason to use those strictly for admin stuff — I don’t need praise for telling people “if you have any questions, this is the place where to ask them”. That said, there is a plugin that allows likes on “project” posts (I’m using it on my own blog; e.g., see my HB 2021 master update “project” post: https://themisathena.info/portfolio/halloween-book-bingo-2021 ). Totally optional, though, I think — not something we need to have right at the start. We can always play with whatever is available / possible later on if people insist on being able to “like” admin posts.
